    Too much sugar added

    Thanks for your replies! So I do know if there is sugar there is going to be yeasts eating them up. What i am worried about is that I have alcohol choking out the yeast, leaving a bunch of sugar behind. If I dilute the wash with water and add more yeast possibly, will this continue to ferment...

    Habanero Capsicumel

    Loving both Mead and Capsaicin, I'd be curious to try it with Bhut Jolokia, Ghost Chilis... Those I am growing, and they have a very..rich and sweet flavor to them.. :D great thread, I think this is my next brew!

    Here is what I wrote down in my notes. The must tasted really good, but I wanted a higher ABV so I added in 1/ 1/2 more cups of sugar. Actually I use sucanat. Here you are, hope it makes sense. (Hopless beer batch number 1) ;) HBBN#1 8/26/13 1 1/2 cups barley 1/2 wheat malt 3 cups sugar...
