Mercury is imiscible in water so you should be able to see if there was any in there. But if I were you I would want to be more sure than that. I'm not sure what the tests are for mercury though.

Actually I think the Brewdog Prototypes are only in 330ml bottles (that's the Hobo Pop, Interstaller and Brixton Porter). I've only ever seen Brewdog in 330ml and 660ml bottles regardless. The Interstellar and Hobo Pop are both really good, not managed to try the Brixton Porter or Moshi Moshi...
