Grain by the bag in WA?

I think I paid $45 for a 50 lb sack of 2 row at Homebrew Heaven. Not sure what organic would be though.

    Corny Keg Repair part sources?

I was thinking a brake line flare tool would do the trick. O'Reilly's has one for $8, and then I could keep it. I'd probably go back to the same wrecking yard and look for some stainless tubing for $1/lb. If that didn't work, then lesson learned.

    Corny Keg Repair part sources?

eBay, Amazon, Beverage Factory, cornykeg.com, etc. There are quite a few places out there, but depending on what the old kegs cost it may not be worth it. I've seen dip tubes for about $5 and $15 (short/long), posts with poppets for about $10-12 each and o-ring kits for about $5. I picked up...

Eat/Drink near Washington Convention Center in Seattle.

Pike Brewing inside Pike Place market has good beer, and good food. Also, I've yet to have a bad beer from Elysian, but they're a little farther, the other way. I may be down there too, my sister and BIL will be in town for that.

    Water Bottles for Fermenters?

I've read that they can't handle the acidity of the fermenting wort and they can break down over time, so it's not recommended to use them. That said, I made a batch in once, and I'm still kickin'. Plastic carboys/buckets aren't much more anyway.

Crazy ways to open a beer

I've got one, it doesn't fit that well though, so it hurts a bit. I've done it with my teeth, once, years ago. Usually I just find a hard corner, but my favorite has to be the chainsaw.

    My DIY Grainmill

Cool idea, I like it. I've been trying to figure out how I want make my mill, but hadn't thought of using a single roller.

It's official starting my own brewing business!

http://www.foggynogginbrewing.com/ This guy is a few streets over from me, running it out of his garage. Granted it's "taste and growlers to go only", and on tap locally.

Things that remind you that you're getting old...

I've never had a vehicle with remote unlock, and 3 weeks ago I got my first smart phone. My back hurts often, and my right knee clicks when going up stairs. I see kids these days and just shake my head.... I'm 24. I'm too old for my age.

    D*mn CARD SERVICES calls!

I used to get them all the time on my cell. It'd be an automated message about some problem with my card, so I'd hit the number to talk with somebody. They'd answer very politely and I'd say something to the effect of "I don't have a cre-" and they'd hang up. The calls continued and I got...
