Yes, go and check it out. Im sure you will have a great time. Check out the West Side Market across the street too. Its a cool place.
Enjoy yourself, GLBC makes some fantastic beers.
I think I am the perfect person for one of these free carboy cleaners because I've never even seen one before, neither have any of my brew buddies. I would be the envy of my crew if I could score one.
Thanks!
x2.
I really like the sound of this recipe, but am no where near ready to start all grain brewing. Could someone point us in the right direction. Is there a stout kit out there that would be a good starting point??
I think this is what I am going to do also. I want to soldier 90 degree elbows onto each end and have straight pieces running vertical and horizontal to allow for all 20' to be coiled up in my brew kettle.
Its just a matter of time before i do this. I just need the funds to make it happen...
I just brewed my 3rd extract batch yesterday, and it took me 4 hours from start thru cleanup. It was the longest of my 3 batches, I cant really explain why it took so long this time, other than I was drinking with my dad... I guess that explains it.
This. I bottled my pumpkin ale a week ago, and had a ton of pumpkin/trub. I probably lost about a gallon of volume. I used the pumpkin pie mix also. Net total of bottles was only 41.
Yeah, I had quite a bit of sediment, I racked to secondary after 14 days, which helped clean it up. I bottled saturday, and only netted 41 bottles though... So I lost quite a bit.
