Yet another panel mount question

I am looking to build a kal clone brew stand on casters and integrate a mount for the control panel. I was thinking of having one of the rear legs (doubled 2x4s) extend as a post above the table top by a few feet and mount the control panel to this using a full motion TV mount.

I am not a Mechanical Engineer so my question is quite simple-- would this setup bear the weight of the panel and mount?

A doubled up 2x4 support headers on a house on a load bearing wall....youll be more than fine and then some.

Just use a good heavy duty tv mount. The little $20 mounts designed for a 20" monitor or tv wont hold up too well especially with use.

I used this one because it was 4 solid points of contact on my brew stand. If you like, you can cut the sides down to minimize the panel it connects to from sticking out but I use it as handles from moving the whole thing around.
