Hi guys going to brew on Sunday and just pulled a mason jar of harvested yeast (cali pale ale) out of my keezer. When I pulled it out I noticed there where some round bumps on the bottom. Is this normal and ok to make a starter with?

All good... Those clumps of yeast and occur sometimes when they flocc out and settle and bind together.

Make a starter and you will be all set.

Perfect! Thanks for reply, I was saying I didn't know how infection could have happened because I was/am always so sanitized and clean wspecially with harvesting yeast, but I guess there is always a chance!

Good to know that it's good to go! Starter time!

Thanks!
