Hi all.
I think I understand the basics of yeast washing pretty well. I have a related question:
Any reason I could not make a large starter of liquid yeast using DME, and then divide it into separate containers and save some of them for later? In other words, can I wash that culture before I even use it to make a batch?
I don't know much about this at all, but I'm wondering if I could use the same process and the same equipment, maybe turn one vial of liquid yeast into 4 or 5.
Thanks in advance.
