Yesterday I brewed an all-grain Imperial IPA with an OG of 1090. I wanted to experiment with some different yeast strains on this recipe that I haven't tried before so I picked up Wyeast 1332 Northwest Ale (smack pack style). The web site says it's tolerant up to 10% ABV but the packaging says you shouldn't use it for high gravity beers above 1060 without using more yeast.

Should I just relax, don't worry and have a homebrew. Or should I think about adding additional yeast into the fermentation process?

Well if your OG was higher than 1.060 then you should have pitched 2 packs or made a starter.

I dont think you have anything to worry about but you will want to keep the yeast active so the dont go to sleep to early.
