Think Spike will release a low cost SS fermenter/bucket similar to Ss Brew Bucket or the Anvil product?

Personally I'm looking for a better version of the Brew Bucket. There are plenty of low cost options with Ss, Anvil, Chapman, etc. I want something that can grow with me and that I can purchase additional accessories for. That's what interests me about conicals but I can't afford $600+ at one time.

stainless conicals start out at about $300 for fully sanitary conicals with TC fittings.. I have one of these and prefer it to the ssbrewtech version I also have.

When you say you prefer it to the SS, are you talking the conical or bucket? Because that bucket looks nice. I would like to see if anyone has one and what they think of it.

Yes, those are conicals but they don't have any accessories that are purpose built. Racking arm, temp control, insulated jacket, casters, bracing shelf, etc (all the fun toys). I know you're a big DIY guy but personally I'd rather buy purpose built accessories rather than cobbling something together myself.

Yeah your going to pay more for the toys I'm commenting on the best tool for the job and money, bling aside... Racking arms are totally not necessary with the side port many who have them dont use them but most 1.5 TC homebrewing racking arms would work on these fine.
The largest brewjacket from http://www.gotta-brew.com/products/cool-zone-cooling-jacket.html fits these conicals perfectly if you dont want to spend the extra money for the purpose built peltier cooling system. they are also more sanitary and easier to keep clean being jackets vs coils. I dont know what a bracing shelf is but your right I never seen wheels on them. On the plus side they are better built than most of the other home brewing conicals Ive seen in person. They certainly have more functionality than a bucket, with the ability to drain the yeast and keg clean beer as well as a tank that comes out of the stand.. I understand everyones priorities are different but for many I would think this would be a nice upgrade.
