Coastal Craft Kombucha is closing after 10 years. WTH? I don’t get it. They’re in Whole Foods and so many other places.

Coastal Craft Kombucha is closing after 10 years. WTH? I don’t get it. They’re in Whole Foods and so many other places.

I noticed recently that a health food store in Sayville no longer had the ability to fill growlers with booch, though I have no idea what supplier it was.

Ya’ll are invited, meetings are free. I’m bringing a couple of 1# bags and an 8 oz bag of hops for a $5 raffle, and several packets of dry yeast including the new Brett from Fermentis and Lutra. These are in addition to our usual 50/50. Three chances to win, $5 each time. We tend to arrive @7 to get a beer and socialize, then we break out some home brew once the meeting is adjourned.

Happy May Day! LIBME is having their meeting @ GSB in Lindenhurst tonight, and I think I’ll be sampling my Maibock at home because the parking there is apparently sparse.
