I want to brew a beer but am unaware of the style.

I would like it to have these characteristics.

It must be an ale
Color: Brown... Think Newcastle shade of brown
Flavor: Sweet malt upfront...fruity... ending with a roasted bitterness.... some bitterness from the hops is acceptable.
Aroma: Malt .... no hop aroma preferred
Alcohol a session ale to moderate alcohol
Mouthfeel: some substance ...not thin
What style am I looking to brew?

I keg my beers... so I am looking for a beer that will be ready to drink with little wait time.

Any proven recipes for tastey brews are appreciated. Thanks for all of your help!

Thanks warex... just curious, have you brewed this recipe?

It is in the fermenter and is ready to be bottled now.
I wanted something fuller and with more malt than a standard brown. I have liked all the Jamil's recipes I have tried so far.

Maple brown ale

8.75 lbs 2-row
.6 lbs Crystal 60
.6 lbs Victory
.2 lbs Special Roast

1oz cascade at 60
1 oz willamette at 30
.75 lbs maple syrup at 5

Safale US-05

Highly drinkable, delicious, and very malt forward.

Both recipes look great! Never thought of using maple syrup. Does the maple flavor come through?

Any other suggestions?
