Hello I recently brewed this IPA, I opened a blottle several weeks after and found all this sediment. What is it? And how do I get rid of it? ImageUploadedByHome Brew1394764467.550109.jpgImageUploadedByHome Brew1394764478.422827.jpgImageUploadedByHome Brew1394764488.340221.jpg

Looks like yeast dregs from bottle conditioning. The longer they chill the better that will compact down so you can get a clean pour.

What chicky said.

Cold crash for a few days before transferring to your bottling bucket, and let it settle before bottling. You could even put a book under the side with the spigot while it's settling, that way the yeast will settle more on the side away from the spigot.

Looks like you got some yeast that hitched a ride along with your beer as it went from fermenter to bottling bucket to bottles. If you can't cold crash, give it some extra days in the fermenter to let things settle out. Be careful with moving the fermenter before racking so you don't stir stuff up and don't stick the end of the siphon into the trub.

3+ days for each bottle to chill in the fridge and careful pouring will help to.

What everyone else said...plus when pouring a bottle conditioned beer into the glass, if you leave the last 1/2 inch or so of beer in the bottle, then whatever yeast has settled in the bottom of the bottle will not wind up in your glass.

I like to fridge mine 5-7 days after the initial carb & condition period. This compacts the dregs on the bottom of the bottle more. Then as you pour,& the dregs slowly come up to the shoulder of the bottle, quit pouring. This'll leave the dregs behind.

Yeah I'm an advocate on learning how to decant your homebrew from a bottle properly to leave the sediment behind. Since your stuff seemed to settle kindof quickly in the glass it tells me that you likely either poured the whole thing or just didn't do it carefully enough
