What do you think of this for a Randall/HB?

I found this food mill that my wife has never used or ever will:

And I was thinking of using it as a type of Randall before bottling by putting whole hops into and racking the beer on top of it into the bottling bucket WP_20141109_004.jpg But would this even work or be worth it? any thoughts on this?

Or using it as a type of hopback during chilling by recirculating the wort on top of it WP_20141109_003.jpg Any thoughts on this? Am I just wasting my time? Would this actually achieve a good hop aroma?
