Question for anyone that might have done this. I'm making my own FTSS for a 7gallon BME Conical I just ordered. But i'm struggling with the pumps here.
The SS Brewtech pump is rated at 158 gallons per hour. Do I need to hit that as a minimum for acceptable cooling? I have zero experience with aquarium pumps. The only pumps i've ever worked with or on are for massive buildings.
There's many cheap pumps that are 80 GPH but i've found one that's around 140 as well. But if that's insufficient I can just jump right up to 400GPH which would be obviously excessive.
