I've got a supplication clone sitting on cherries right now. I'm going to bottle it in +\- 9 months. Is it possible to "wash" the bugs the way you would a straight yeast? I didn't think it wise to rack another beer on top of the year old cherry carcuses but really want to reuse the blend. (I know I'll probably have to find a replacement sacc yeast.)

Stir it all into suspension and pour thru a coarse mesh strainer or chess cloth.
