If you were to wash dry yeast after primary. Could you make a starter from it before repitching?
I know you aren't supposed to make a starter when pitching dry, so Im unsure about after washing.

Cheers

After you use it, it's not dry anymore; it's liquid. Sure, go ahead and make a starter.

I sanitize a cup and scoop it right out the fermenter. As long as it's coming from a relatively clean beer it won't impart flavors. It's handy when I keg the same day I brew. No yeast cost and no washing..win win
