My first AG IPA is happening this weekend. What do you all think of this recipe? First time using Munich.


Walker Ave. IPA
American IPA
Type: All Grain
Batch Size (fermenter): 5.50 gal
Boil Size: 7.24 gal
Boil Time: 60 min
End of Boil Volume 6.24 gal
Final Bottling Volume: 5.00 gal

1 lbs 8.0 oz Munich Malt - 10L (10.0 SRM)
8.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM)
0.75 oz Amarillo Gold [9.60 %] - First Wort 60.0 min 24.8 IBUs
0.50 oz Simcoe [14.60 %] - Boil 60.0 min 20.7 IBUs

Thanks. Any thoughts on the Munich amount paired with the crystal? I want a full-bodied beer but nothing cloying. Not sure how exactly they compliment one another.
