We too visited Kotor as part of a Celebrity cruise last October. While Dubrovnik was bigger and more impressive, Kotor was pretty cool with compactness of the old village, the surrounding mountains and the long natural bay/fjord that it sits at the end of. We didn't stay in the old town for lunch as this was touristy. Instead, we wandered to the waterfront area across from where the boats dock and found a waterside restaurant. Wonderful food, good service, awesome views and dirt cheap. One of our most memorable stops on an incredible vacation.
