Hi everyone, i'm new to homebrewing (only 3 batches in) and even newer to HB, this is actually my first post on here. I am learning from a friend of mine who is all setup doing all-grain brewing and ive done a few batches with him too to see what its all about but on my own ive done 3 batches all extract and one with steep specialty grains. Now onto my question, I recently acquired a vacuum pressure pump and was thinking that i can use it similarly to a liquid pump to move cold ice water through my counterflow chiller. I have no idea how this thing really works (actually owned it for about 2 hours now) but from what ive been reading on here is that people are using is to suck air out of the carboys and transfer wort from primary to secondary. But does anyone know if this pump can just push water along?
