I am new to wine making. I have spent many years making beer. I am anticipating more problems with lifting 6 gallons weight in order to syphon. So thinking of using a transfer pump eventually. I've seen some ideas on line but my concern is the extra air that is introduced in the process. Thinking how air is NOT my friend with beer what possible problems would I have with wine. Would using a low pressure transfer or vacuum pump be better?
