Hey guys,

I was in Michigan when some new grains, hops and yeast arrived. I texted my friend to put the hops and yeast in the fridge. Guess what... He forgot my Irish yeast and centennial hops. Now I'm not worried about the hops, but 4 days of yeast at room temperature is scary. I was planning on using this yeast for my stalled stout, but now I think the yeast is useless. What do you think?

It definitely won't be useless. Yeast can live at room temperature. As long as it didn't get above 90+ degrees you should be ok. I would make a pint (1000mL) starter and you should be good to go.
