Does the type of base malt in a Russian Imperial Stout matter? Looking to make a RIS and I wanted to know if I could just add several lbs of different base malts (2-row, pale malt, Vienna, Munich, 6-row, Maris Otter and wheat). I have 4-5 extra lbs of all of these but not enough of a single one to make up the entire grain bill for 10 gallons.

It's really hard to tell what base malt is used in a RIS as so much other flavor is in one.
Use what you have in this order, until you have enough to brew.
1: Maris Otter
2: pale malt
3: 2-row
4: wheat
5: vienna
6: munich
