Two kit cans of cider are bulging at the bottom and not the top - problem?

I bought 2 cider kits from an online shop. When they arrived, both cans were bulging/uneven on the bottom, but the tops seem fine. The can's don't seem to have much pressure in them (I can easily press in the side).

Both cans are almost identical - bottom all uneven, top fine. I also had a bag of LME in the order which had burst open, so it seems the box was thrown around a bit during delivery.

Are these kits safe to use? My first thought is that bulging cans are never good and that these should go in the bin and replacements sent. But these don't seem to be under pressure, and given the pull top never burst but the bottom bulged, might they have been crushed? Am I worrying too much?

Your instincts are right! Steer clear of canned goods that are bulging.

a bulging can?!?!? unless you are like veery high above sea level and this was canned at sea level.... I would stay away from that
