Want to replace valve on turkey fryer with something easy to clean. I've seen the 3piece ball valve. What other fittings and washers do I need to connect to kettle?

No worries figured it out. Even talked to BargainFittings with some help.

Was the hole in the pot for the original valve the right size for a standard weldless fitting?

What did you do? I'd love to know. I'm considering doing the same thing.

I actually have the same pot and was considering the same thing too, did everything just fit or did you need to make any adjustments?

I have what appears to be the same pot and I had to drill out the hole a bit. Now I have a 1/2" ball valve on it and have had no problems with it. Got my parts from BargainFittings.com also.

Great. That is what i had to do. For some reason the hole in the kettle wasn't completely round.
