Tshirt press bag?

Just picked up a cider press for this weekend. We don't have a ton of apples to do - I anticipate five gallons of juice, but that's just a guess.

The owner of the press could not find the nylon mesh bags that hold the ground apples as they are pressed. Can I use clean t-shirts?

My press is a rack and cloth press. I use drapery found at a thrift store. I think a t-shirt should hold, especially for a 5 gallon pressing
