Found a clone recipe for Iron Maiden Trooper ESB online and wanted to adapt an Extract Kit.
Yes Im an IRON MAIDEN Fan Club Member and going to LA and Dallas to see this years tour.
anyways....
Northern Brew ESB (Extra Special Bitter) looked to be the closest to what I was looking for.
Substituted 6#s Maris Otter Malt Extract for the 3.5# Gold Malt Extract and 1#DME.
Using the kits 2 oz Willamette at 60 min and Kent Goldings at 15 min and 1 min.
Adding 2 oz Cascade at 7 min.
Clone recipe calls for another 2oz Cascade for dry hop. Ill taste test before adding.
Up the IRONS!!
