First time using rice here. I know rice (flakes) adds practically no flavor to a beer - however, does it (not toasted) add any flavor to a light grain bill? (5-gallon) 7lbs. two-row, 2.5 lbs rice, 1/2 lb. flaked wheat. I couldn't find any good discussion about this on this forum.
Would toasting the rice yield any nice rice-y flavors? And also, does toasting rice change the fermentability?
