Has anyone tried toasting munich malt to sub for toasted 2-row? If so, how did it turn out?

Not Munich, but I have toasted Golden Promise and it was awesome!

Just remember Munich is somewhere about 5-8 srm higher then domestic 2-row so I imagine youll want to adjust the time and temp to compensate for the difference. T&E

Yeah, I already made this mistake and ended up with a pound of slightly burnt munich.

Try the next time by aroma, once that nice malty/bready aroma starts increasing, pull the grain out and cool it down.
