Am I the only one who, after washing yeast, can only taste yeast in beer after being exposed to a concentrated amount. I don't mind it at all, in fact I love smelling a freshly opened smack pack lol!

I can't imagine that's the case because when i make a starter it just a 1l starter and use a yeast calc. I show I'm usually pitching a little under unless I'm incorrectly estimating my initial yeast count.

The beer I was drinking when I made the observation was from the batch I was washing. I think it was just that my senses were over powered with the smell of yeast.
