You could flip it upside down and tap the gas post.

Kinda shooting in the dark here without knowing your end game.

This will not work. It will be like holding your finger over a straw. The keg would have to be able to vent which would draw in oxygen, ruining the beer. Unless you're just wanting to use it for bottling carbed beer.

Flipping it upside down. Hmmm, that's one way. Humor me guys. Some of the old style kegs are tapped that way. I get they are mostly wooden, but can you do it on a smaller scale like a corny.

The pic from post 3^ hooked to the gas side and either invert the keg or just lay it on its side with that post down. You will have to allow something in via the liquid side to replace the sweet goodness you are dispensing.

If you flip it upside down you can dispense by gravity out of the gas side while you vent the liquid side. However it has to be consumed in full by 5 he end of the day. Otherwise it will be flat and oxidized.

is your purpose to simply gravity feed and save a few cents on CO2 or are you actually after a cask ale in a corny?

There are many methods for cask ale in a corny, some involve CO2, some don't.

If you're simply looking to gravity feed, a syphon is as free as it gets.
