Hello all,

I'm new to brewing and for my next batch I want to try a Stout. I came up with this recipe and wanted your thoughts on it.

Boil size 4.75
Batch size ~4.25

5.25lbs LME Dark
1.1lbs LME Wheat
1lb Crystal 20L
12oz Roasted Barley 300L
8.8oz Chocolate Malt 350L (I have 8.8oz to use up)
2oz Black Malt 500L

1oz Fuggles 60min
1oz Kent Goldings 10min

Nottingham ale yeast @ 60-65F

Est OG 1.058
Est FG 1.013
IBU 27

I want something malty, sweet, and roasty. I want more coffee/toffee like flavors but don't want it to taste burnt and acrid.

I was thinking of adding lactose and cold steeped coffee too but in another batch. I will do this one without and see how the beer is by itself.

Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks :mug:
