I recently brewed a 4L batch of cider from the following recipe:
1 can frozen concentrate
1L box juice
3L fresh pressed cider
Mangrove Jack M02 cider yeast
OG 1.054 FG 1.015
I was going to back sweeten it with another can of concentrate, but for whatever reason I can't find any, so I'm going to use another litre of juice. Anyway, on to my question:
I've already added one Campden tablet last week. Can I just add the potassium sorbate now, or do I have to add more sodium metabisulfate to avoid the geranium smell effect?
FYI, I'm shooting for a still cider, so I'm going for juice rather than lactose or xylitol to back sweeten.
