I'm looking at making an all-grain Berliner Weisse.
I want to make a 10-gallon batch and split into two five-gallon fermenters. But i don't have the kettle space to do a full 10-gallon batch. With target gravity of 1.032, can I just make a five-gallon batch of 1.064 wort and then put 2.5 gallons of wort into each fermenter along with 2.5 gallons of top-off water?
Or is it not that simple?
