Protein, baby! :ban:

But...having had an epic spider mite infestation years ago that picked on my Centennial and seeing a green wave crawling up the sides of my oast I do sympathize.
I tossed that bunch...

Hahahahah. Thanks for the quick advice. It was so bad I couldn't do it. I knew I had a problem but not this bad. I decided to learn from it and have a killer crop next year.

At least in my experience, yes, the mites make a run for the hills once the cones start drying.
Still, this was 20-something pounds of cones in a four-stack oast with literally waves of mites crawling around the edges and sides.
I was still sitting on a goodly amount of the prior year's harvest and still has my Chinook and Cascade to harvest, so letting the Cents go wasn't as horrible as the thought of using them ;)

Cheers!
