So I am using my new stir plate for the first time, and I am wondering what is going to happen to that little 1" stir bar when I attempt to pitch the yeast out of the flask.
I think the starter will probably have completed by the time I am ready to brew, so I will cold crash it and pour off the starter beer before pitching the slurry, but I am guessing the bar will just be carried along with it.
Could I use a magnet on the bottom of the flask to keep it there or something?
