Looking to brew a pumpkin ale this weekend and I would like to add pumpkin in my grains/adjuncts in my iBrewmaster app. One thing I need to do this is do add the SG of the ingredient.

Not looking for someone to do the work for me, but rather walk me through how to do the calculation.

I'm using 4, 15oz cans of pumpkin.

There are 4 grams of sugar per 1/2 cup serving and there are 3.5 servings per can. So, there is 14 grams of sugar per can. Therefore, I plan on adding a total of 56g of sugar in the 60 oz of pumpkin I add.

How do I turn this into SG of the pumpkin?

Thanks in advance.
