Second fermentation time

First go at a hot blonde ale and flavored ale. We have added fruit flavor that contains some sugar to our second. How long should we let it sit before bottling?
We are worried the sugar in the flavoring will take up the rest of the yeast and then there won’t be any carbonation in the bottle.
Thoughts?
 
Sugars don't 'take up the yeast', yeast eat the sugars, but are still left behind, so no worries.
What sort of fruit flavouring is it? (I'm not after the flavour, I couldn't care less if it's raspberry, passionfruit etc.; I mean is it extract, puree, essence etc.).
