I will be passing thru San Jose soon. Ive heard there is some craft brew activity there. Suggestions?

Check out stiefel pub and el gaff. They are both on Facebook and serve trinta cinco and Costa Rica craft brewery. They are the two best commercial craft brewers. Keep your expectation low and you'll be pleasantly surprise.

I have discovered a couple of good micro breweries elsewhere in CA: Rana Dorada in Panama City and Brew Revolution in El Tunco, El Salvador.
