RV (drinking water) hose & sprayer

I have an in-line filter and a drinking water hose that I intend to use for brewing. I'm trying to find some kind of attachment that will allow me to leave the hose on, but operate it through a sprayer, just like in the garden. Does any old sprayer work or is there such thing as a drinking water hose sprayer? I'd hate to go through the process of making sure my water is okay then screw it up with a sprayer attachment. I did look for ones that were lead free, but is that all I need to look for?

A plastic inline on/off valve has worked well for me using the same RV filter/drinking hose setup.
