8oz Cara-Pils
4# Extra Light DME
1# Rice Syrup Solids
8oz Corn Sugar
0.25oz Mt. Hood (6.1%) @ 60
0.75oz Mt. Hood (6.1%) @ 20
0.5oz Liberty (3.9%) @ 0 with 15 minute steep
1 whirlfloc
1 package US-05 rehydrated in 115ml
Fermented for 10 days then into keg and carbed up to 2.6vols
Came out as a nice floral/earthy hop character very subtle in back of a light bready malt but overall some nice fizzy yellow beer! I started with a version of Cream of Three Crops but haven't moved up to all grain yet. Thanks for the inspiration, this will definitely be brewed again and may be a nice base to experiment with different hop varieties.
