I've often thought about doing something similar to this, but always chickened out. It could be amazing, or it could be awful. If you brew it, please post your results.

I'll be sure to let everyone know how it turns out of course. I will be buying ingredients around 09/01 so let me know if you have any recipe suggestions before then. Thanks!

I have revised this recipe again! I also came across a great deal on one pound of Citra, which I think will work well with the malty backbone of a pilsner bill.

What do ya'll think of this new recipe?

Finally got this brewed 3 weeks ago. Down to 1.011 and ready to lager. Transferring to keg tomorrow. The samples taste promising. Going to lager for 4 weeks, dry hop in the keg for a week more and then begin carbonation.

I am of course now drinking this beer. Im happy with it. Its hoppy but there's a perfect amount of malt backbone that comes through at the end. I would definitely brew again but would probably try a different hop variety for fun.
