After lurking for over a year I thought I'd better join and attempt to contribute to the forum.
I use to brew back in the 80's but got tired of making beers with all the same off flavors. I was following the advice of a LHBS, just follow the directions on the back of the can. So I started to believe you couldn't brew good beer at home. Ha I was wrong on that one.
Been brewing again for just over a year and what a difference if you follow some simple steps (temp control, good yeast, and great recipes
