So I had 2 Belgians going, similar starting gravities, one went forever and still has krausen floating on top, the other, after 2 weeks has no krausen floating, bit fat yeast cake, and seems finished.
AHB website says it should have gone to 1.012, mines at 1.007.
Is that within the realm of error? Seems a bit off, 75f temp... not sure what happened. It didn't seem to have that much airlock activity or even rise that high, I'm a bit worried I screwed something up but they were more or less perfect brew sessions.
When I checked the gravity I gave it a taste, tastes like beer...
It was a Belgian Strong Ale from Austin Homebrew Supply for those curious to look it up.
