Racking to Secondary

I didn't see anything on this, so I thought I would ask. Anybody have a good technique for keeping the tube down at the bottom of the carboy when racking from primary to secondary (or to bottling bucket for that matter). I figure the best way to prevent splashing is to get the tube submerged as quickly as possible and sometimes it wants to be stubborn...
