Question for fans of the obscure

I was looking into getting my hands on a bottle of chartreuse, but I'm not quick to toss money into the unknown.

If anyone knows from first-hand experience of an appropriate price for a standard 750 ml of the stuff, please chime in. I'm seeing prices around 50 USD. If this is necessary to avoid counterfeits, I'll understand. I just worry that I'm not searching well enough.

45-50. For the regular green stuff... Some of the others variations can be a bit more. If you aren't familiar with it, you'll find it very distinctive. I use in an eye dropper like bitters. So unless you are going crazy, one bottle will last you some time.
