Question about a thief

Do you guys put your "thief beer" back in the fermentor after testing? And of course I sanitize everything.

I don't.

Though I also sanitize everything, I don't like to return to beer to the fermenter.

I allow for the loss in my original batch volume.

Just wanting to see what everyone does, I drink mine, haven't heard anyone admit that yet.

Nope. I, of course, still sanitize anything that comes in contact with my beer. I drink whatever I extract.

Alway taste my samples, never return to fermenter.

I always drink mine. Sometimes this leads to more samples....

I never dump back, just drink.

As long as you don't drink directly from the the thief, and make sure you sanatize anything in contact, I don't see why you can't put it back. I do and have had no problems.
