Tasting Notes
Pretty much an Abita Purple Haze clone.
This beer turned out great! Perfect level of raspberry, bitterness, and wheat. I very much enjoy the pale malt as it gives a bit more body, and the carapils helps a bit with head retention. To me, this is pretty damn close to but a bit better than the Abita Purple Haze.

Actual OG was 1.050; FG was 1.015; IBUs was 17; SRM was 3.6. I carbed to 2.3 volumes with 4 oz. corn sugar for 5 gals.

I wonder if something has changed lately because the Purple Haze that is labeled as a lager, with pretty much the exact same recipe as Strawberry Harvest.
