ok, im still new to brewing but my wine has been in the fermenter for 6hrs and i havent seen any activity at all is this normal for wine? i used lactivin rc-112 with fermaid and pitched at 87degrees

is this normal?

Give it 24-48 hours and see what happens. As other will most likely tell you, airlock activity is not the only way to judge fermentation. Take gravity readings. When you get the same reading 2-3 days in a row, fermentation has completed.

Patience my friend!

Yea give it more time. After 48 hours if you don't see bubbles make sure your lid is air tight. If still nothing after that add energizer. But patients its probly your largest factor, lol

Yeah, i got faith in it today where it's at should get up to about 80 degrees so that should kick it in to gear
