I'm looking at priming a Brown Ale with treacle.

Does anyone know the effectiveness of this compare to corn sugar? i.e the value i need to plug into Beersmith so I can work out how much I need)

Many thanks!

Treacle = black strap molasses (invert sugar, but should still be close). That should be in Beersmith - just be careful with it, too much molasses can lead to a metallic taste IME.
