Hello, I've got two kits under my belt, and I want to start getting my hands dirty with picking my own ingredients. I previously posted my initial recipe to r/homebrewing on reddit and I've made some tweaks based on feedback there, but I'd like more thoughts. I'm trying for a light pale ale with a lot of citrus/pine flavor.
My two concerns here are:
Actually procuring the hops, I know they are hard to come by. Are there alternatives I can get away with using?
Is the FG too high? I don't want this to be super sweet.
